Břeclav Chateau and lookout tower
In the 11th Century Břetislav I built a castle here. This was transformed into a Renaissance chateau by the Žerotíns in the 16th Century. Three centuries later the Lichtenstein family gave it the form of a romanticised artificial ruin.
Currently, the whole chateau is being reconstructed in its original Renaissance style. However, the chateau lookout tower is open for you to visit. You can see (not only) the whole of Břeclav from it.
