When people talk about Mikulov, you can immediately smell wine in the air. Then you visualize Pálava. This picturesque town is overseen by a wonderful Baroque chateau built on a rock cliff located in the centre of the town. Mikulov is 18 km from Břeclav.
Mikulov is surrounded on all sides by vineyards. You can see this best when climbing Holy Hill. From the top you have a view for which all photographers come. This is South Moravia.
