Where is the capital of wine? Valtice. The headquarters of the National Wine Centre is located here, as is the Secondary School of Viticulture – the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. Valtice simply smells of grapes, young wine and grape harvesting.
When you walk through Valtice, remember the below your feet is an unrivalled labyrinth of historical wine cellars with a total length of more than 900 meters. It’s well worth tasting some of the local wine.
