The most extensive man-made area in Europe.
A breathtaking area registered with UNESCO.
The word “salet” means a small, walled building in a park or garden. The Lichtenstein family built sixteen of these salets on their estate. The area lies between the triangle of the towns Břeclav–Lednice–Valtice.
The closest to Břeclav are the salets at Pohansko, Lány hunting lodge and Janův hrad.
The closet to Lednice is probably either the Temple of Apollo or Moorish waterworks. Half the salets are scattered between Lednice and Valtice. You have to see them.
